Regular Savings Account
- A minimum of $50.00 is required to open the account. However, there is a service charge each month if the actual balance drops below $50.00. You may make one free withdrawal per month without incurring additional fees. Each withdrawal over the one allowed will be subject to a $3.00 service charge.
- Must maintain a minimum average daily balance of $50.00 to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.
- Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change. At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account. We may change the interest rate on your account every quarter.
- Interest is compounded quarterly and will be credited on the last business day of each quarter. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.
- Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non-cash items (for example, checks).
- We use the average daily balance method to calculate interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
- Withdrawals by check, ACH debit, draft, debit card or similar order made to third parties are prohibited.
- A withdrawal at automated teller machines is prohibited.
- The types of transfers or withdrawals allowed are those made in person or automatic transfers requests made through a PC banking system. While these transactions are allowed anything over your one free withdrawal per month will be subject to an additional service charge.
- You are allowed, but are limited to six withdrawals per month regarding transfer request made through a PC banking system. While these transactions are allowed with limitations, anything over your one free withdrawal per month will be subject to additional service charges. Excessive abuse of these limitations will lead to refusal of transfers, conversion to a non-interest bearing account, or account closure. Excess is defined as more than three abuses in twelve months.
- If the account is being held as a youth account, once the individual turns 18 years of age, the monthly charge will no longer be waived if the balance in the account is below the minimum required to avoid such a charge.
